“Flower Moon” over Vélez-Málaga on 1st May 2026
Bealtaine blessings to you all! This is a very special month of May this year in that there will be a second full moon or a “Blue Moon” at the end of the same month, on 31st May.
Last night’s “Flower Moon” here in Vélez-Málaga was absolutely stunning!

In 2012 I was living in Cork city, Ireland. In August of 2012 there was also a “Blue Moon”.
I filmed some scenes around Brian Boru bridge and produced this video called “Blue Moon Over Cork City”.
The following year, 2013, “Blue Moon Over Cork City” was selected and screened at the inaugural IndieCork Film Festival.
So maybe there will be a sequel from the full moon at the end of this month? Who knows? Right now I don’t even know where I will be on that date. Maybe Berlin? That’s the plan anyway and I’m moving towards reaching that goal step by step every day so it all has to fit into place eventually right? Yeah right! lol!! Keep on keeping on, that’s the main thing!
A big heartfelt welcome to my new members! A week in and the response has been positive, slow but positive lol! Such is the way of things now but I’m in a good place with it all. Wherever I end up next I go there fully loaded with new material, a new show, hours of music and videos, my photo ebook, membership and over the next couple of weeks I will post my new podcast and also a video celebrating 2 years of learning to play flamenco guitar here in beautiful Vélez-Málaga! So I’m a busy old man but I’m loving it! 😀
