A very proud moment!

Having just completed a year of learning to play Flamenco guitar in Andalucia, Spain, my Teacher, Daniel Santacruz, presented me with this Diploma of Recognition to mark the occasion. I also turned 58 a few days earlier so to be here in Spain doing this at this stage of my life
 is most definitely a dream come true! 

It has been a most incredible experience living in Vélez-Malaga for the past year, the highlight of which has been learning to play Flamenco guitar. Having played other styles of guitar for more than 50 years it had always been a dream of mine to learn Flamenco guitar one day.
Today, a year on and I'm completely addicted! Olé!

I'm still working on my ebook projects. Writing my memoirs last year was intense to put it mildly but it was also extremely cathartic and I learned a lot from the process. I have been going through my archives selecting photos for my photo ebook, that's going well, still a lot to go through, it will be an interesting book when it's finished.

Today I'm preparing for a trip to Egypt where I will be joining a tour from Ireland for two weeks exploring the ancient mysteries that world has to offer. There will be a video.

Speaking of videos. I posted a new video last night to mark my

Like I said it's been the highlight of my time here.
