I’m “Din”, aka Denis O’ Sullivan, creator of “Din City” in collaboration with ChatGPT and also Meshy.ai for creating 3D models.
Having spent the past 44 years playing guitar and working with computers, evolving with all the new stages as they appeared, sound, graphics, cds, dvds, internet, websites, live streams, instant streaming, bandwidth baby, I finally have arrived at a place in my life, a perfect storm of incredible technological advancements and easy access to it.
It’s mind blowing what AI can do!
Such has been my experience working with it!
So once again the return trip to Berlin didn’t happen (yet) but when one city closes it’s doors another city magically appears! After about 300 hours of the most interesting work I’ve ever done that is!
“Din City” is an immersive, interactive 3D website experience combining gaming and website technologies to deliver a 1st person visitor experience in the virtual world of “Din City”.
Once the city has loaded (give it a minute) you can wander freely around the 8 individual islands by using the arrow keys on a keyboard or with thumb movements on a mobile device. Try “Bird” mode.
Click on the compass to activate the interactive map
from where you can navigate to any point in “Din City”.
The 2D choice offers a regular paged website experience.
